Update: Michelle's Fund Proceeds to The James Cancer Hospital
Earlier this year, Michelle's Fund partnered with the Columbus Crawl for Cancer as a beneficiary of their annual fund raising event. Michelle's Fund's share of the proceeds totaled $22,962.58! Founded in memory of Michelle Theado, Michelle's Fund is a non-profit organization that supports ongoing research projects related to head and neck cancers. All of our donations are directed to research taking place at the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute at the Ohio State University Medical Center by partnering with Joan's Fund, an endowment funding head and neck cancer research.
Why Give to Michelle's Fund?
100% of all cash donations we receive are sent directly to the James' research teams to support ongoing projects. By donating to our fund you are supporting the researchers at the James Cancer Hospital who worked hard for over a year to save Michelle's life. Supporting their research through Michelle's Fund, you can show your appreciation for their efforts while displaying a commitment to finding better treatments for cancer so that other patients will not endure the pain of head and neck cancer in the future. Michelle's Fund is a registered 501(c)(3) organization, so all donations are 100% tax deductible.
How Do We Raise Funds?
Michelle's Fund will be funded by general donations from individuals like you supporting our cause, as well as through several annual fundraising events that are still being finalized at this time. Additionally, we are establishing relationships with local businesses that will benefit our fund and our partners equally, because of the tax deductible nature of our donations.
